This contemporary restobar covers a lot of bases to lure in a diverse crowd of tourists, Ukrainians and young people. Attached to the game shop next door, the casual interior of post-industrial fittings features digital fantasy art on the walls, shelves full of boardgames (available to borrow, rent or buy, but largely in Ukrainian) and a downstairs 'Games Dungeon' with special card tables. Despite that, the deceptively large locale - which includes giant windows, outside seating and a huge mezzanine level - has a modern pub atmosphere, especially in the evenings when there's live music as the barstaff cranks out colourful cocktails. The helpful picture menu is a tourist-friendly primer on traditional Polish dishes, plus pasta and European bar standards, while the cheap 'UFO burgers' (imagine a burger put into a big bubble press) are popular with students. Excessive coffeedrinkers should also take note of the 1zł bottomless cappuccinos offered when you buy one of their all-day breakfasts plates , which include a decent take on the English breakfast and a variety of eggs Benedict. Overall, this is a please-all venture, and it succeeds.
