Marta Podolska's art is a journey on a road to a discovery of the primary roots of Slavic native culture. The artist creates mosaic collages composed of unusual associations derived from an ancient Slavic cultural heritage, still present in many aspects of Polish modern life. The images became a pretext to comment on a modern man's condition and his relation to nature. The local myths are intertwined with modern elements, thus creating a fascinating insight into human nature.
