Normally we wouldn't tout a hotel venue, but this lovely space attached to the PURO Hotel in Kazimierz is one of our favourite places to relax. With plenty of space and a wonderful modern design full of cosy and artsy touches, Mak inhabits an idle world where there's no rush to do anything more than slowly enjoy their delicious coffee and baked goods, while leafing through the art albums and periodicals deliberately deployed about. Baking their own fresh sourdough bread, bagels, baguettes, cinnamon rolls, pastries and more, Mak serves a range of breakfast (served all day) and lunch options including bagel sandwiches, shakshuka, omelettes, quiche, soup, salads and more. The menu comes in English, with vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options clearly marked, and the coffee - espresso, drip and cold brew - is absolutely excellent.
