Established as the city's first 'Actor's Club,' this was once the place to find local stage personalities, singers and sportsmen enjoying the high life (see the photos on the walls). The glamourous Art Deco interior, which nods to Polish artist Tamara Łempicka, still inhabits that high society spirit, and the signature cocktails - some of the best on the market square - pull off the effect nicely. Tourists are lured to the large market square patio by live concerts of light jazz and simply cooked staples of Polish cuisine, as well as decent coffee and breakfast in the mornings. If you want to show off, order the caviar and champagne.
