24 years ago, the Judaica Foundation (also known as the Centre for Jewish Culture) settled down and opened its doors in Krakow. In honour of this anniversary, you're invited for a Sunday evening treat—namely, a live concert featuring the Kroke trio. Here's a quick language lesson of the day: the band's name is actually Yiddish for Kraków. Fusing a little bit of jazz, a little bit of klezmer, and a variety of ethnic (with an emphasis on Oriental) sounds—Kroke have managed to work up a distinctive style in their 25-odd years of playing together. Tickets available at the centre.
