Organised by Queerowy Maj, this annual demonstration typically takes place in May each year, but was bumped back to August by the pandemic. More than just a LGBTQ+ pride parade, the Kraków Equality March is a physical manifestation of support for social solidarity, anti-discrimination law, and the need to freely express one's identity. Everyone is invited to participate by joining this march through the streets of Kraków to express opposition to discrimination and exclusion, primarily on the grounds of non-normative sexuality and sexuality, but also on the grounds of ethnic origin, age, disabilities, religion or non-denominational or material status. This year's parade begins in the square in front of the Kraków National Museum near Aleja Mickiewicza and ul. Piłsudskiego.
