Kraków Easter Market

During the lead-up to Easter, wooden stalls occupy the market square selling a wide array of colourful goods, food and souvenirs at this popular spring market: hand-woven Easter palms made of dried flowers, painstakingly decorated Easter eggs, wicker baskets, linen tablecloths, gingerbread hearts, hand-painted pottery, smoked cheese from Podhale, hearty sausage and cabbage served on paper plates, pierogi, decorations, trinkets and toys galore, plus plenty of hot spiced wine. Hallelujah, it must be spring!
