Each October bookworms unite at Kraków's EXPO centre over an extensive selection of written material, exhibits, workshops, panels, competitions and meetings with writers. An excellent opportunity for readers to see what new books publishers have to offer, buy discounted copies, meet with authors and get autographs, the Kraków Book Fair also serves as a meeting platform for representatives of the publishing and book industry. Visitors will find thousands of books available in all genres, in addition to some toys and games for children, though it should be noted that some 90% of the selection is in Polish.
