This former Jewish prayer house has been transformed into one of Kraków's most evocative and complete venues: a trendy bar, cafe, restaurant and even weekend club. With antique chandeliers, peeling frescos and Beach House grooves from the speakers, the atmosphere pegs it as more of a hip dive bar, but the young kitchen team here have put together an extremely creative menu of authorial dishes based on old Galician eating traditions; each time we've visited it's been different, so check the specs online. Breakfast is served 10:00-13:00, and the kitchen continues to serve appetisers late until 22:00. Seriously, this is one of our favourites.
