Once a centre of the vibrant cultural life of communist Poland, Hotel Cracovia is the home of Design Forum, promoting and selling commercial art. The hotel, built in the 60s, is a first-class example of post-war modernism, which today is considered by historians of architecture, conservators and architects alike to be an important element of the 20th-century cultural heritage of Poland. The exhibition of old photographs documenting the hotel's past will be an occasion for a trip down a memory lane, which includes long lines to get a bottle of "Żywiec" or delicious kremówka pastry.
