With an industrial interior offset by large timber tables, and featuring a vast open kitchen, Ed Red conveys the atmosphere of an NYC steakhouse, but the menu is built upon local Polish products and delicacies that change often. For meatlovers there may be no better place in Kraków - the burgers are popular, the Surf & Turf is tantalising, but the hanger steaks are simply unparalleled in juiciness and flavour. Vegetarians will be eager to note that this is one of the only spots in Kraków to offer a burger made with Beyond Meat. Though casual in style, the service is outstandingly professional, and everything from the tempting and creative culinary cocktails to the monogrammed cloth napkins reveals that this is a fully thought-out effort.
