This pointed little marvel dates from the 15th century, and was added to the UNESCO list in the 21st (2003 to be exact). Built without the use of a single nail this beauty has avoided destruction all this time - proof, according to the locals, of God’s protection. Open from May to December, the perfectly preserved interiors are entered from the west side, and visitors can admire polychrome wall paintings, wooden carvings and a triptych dating from the 16th century. Sixty-nine kilometres south of Kraków, the easiest way to visit is by way of Nowy Targ.
