We need to say this: We'd been touting this place for years at the time they garnered Kraków's first and only Michelin star in 2020. Well guess what? As of June 2023, they are now the proud holders of two Michelin stars - the only restaurant in Poland that can make such a claim. Congrats!

Discreetly hidden on a side street off Plac Wolnica, this small, intimate wine bar exudes class and taste with a sharp decór of fine stonework and aged rough-hewn timber, an open kitchen, VIP service, and an expertly stocked wine cellar (of course) with over 450 vintages. The team of three top chefs regularly change the mercifully concise menu of mouth-watering modern Polish dishes, which the deft recommendations of the sommelier perfectly complement. If you can't decide on just one dish, spring for a 5- or 7-course tasting menu (served from 17:00). A great place for business or courtship, Bottiglieria has won awards from not only Michelin, but also Wine Spectator magazine. Hardly a surprise, since there are embarrassingly few venues in Kraków as beautifully elegant and unique as this one.
