In summer, the eastern side of Tauron Arena turns into what is easily the city's best food truck park. With upwards of 20 different fast food offerings, the diversity of what's available to eat is immense and better than elsewhere, including sushi, gyros, tangine, tacos, burgers, fries, pad thai, pizza, ice cream - you name it, it's here somewhere. Stretching around one quarter of the arena, coffee, beer and mixed drinks are also on hand, and the lawns of this area in Park Lotników basically turn into a giant beer garden/gastronomy park with deck chairs galore in the grass. That's not all though. There are also attractions for kids - bouncy castles, workshops and more - in addition to the park's playgrounds and two new ponds they can splash in, plus an outdoor stage on the back of the arena hosting live concerts, comedy gigs and other events throughout the season. Unseen from the road, there's plenty of space for everyone, the setting is lovely, and the vibe is peak summer.
