This large-scale mural by Olaf Cirut was executed in the summer of 2016 within the framework of the first Open Eyes Economy Summit in Kraków - an international congress whose programme revolves around urban design. The striking image seems to depict some kind of urban calamity (an explosion? terrorist attack? natural disaster?) and ask local residents if they are 'ready' and prepared to help when it happens. A bit like having a tramp wearing a 'THE END IS NEAR' sandwich board slumped outside your building, we're really not sure what the intention is/was here, but we don't think we'd appreciate having this painted on our apartment block.
