Although technically Swedish, this small Polish-owned shop has been a staple on Sienna Street for decades and has come to feel like an indelible part of the Kraków shopping landscape. Started by Polish immigrants Barbara and Janusz Bukowski in Stockholm, Bukowski Design began with Barbara handsewing stuffed animals with her grandmother, then creating cuddly companions for her own children and friends, before launching this plush toy business in 1990. Today the internationally-recognised brand is one of Europe's largest manufacturers of teddy bears and other cuddly creatures. Drop into one of their Old Town boutiques to meet the Polish Paddington and all of his cute, soft, fuzzy and cuddly friends (also available online).
