A two-act play for children

First, the heart is not a clock. Second, but sometimes it brakes, stops and rewinds. Third, never, ever be afraid of these malfunctions. Only then the unstoppable, loving pulse of your heart will let you feel alive.

The Boy with the Cuckoo-Clock Heart begins in Scotland’s capital of Edinburgh in 1874. Jack is born on the coldest day in history, therefore, his heart freezes and stops beating. Doctor Madeleine replaces the boy’s real heart with cuckoo-clock. If he wishes to survive, Jack must follow three rules – he must not touch the clock’s hands, never lose his temper and, finally, never ever fall in love. If he breaks any one of the rules the bigger hand of the clock will rip through his skin, his bones will crumble and the mechanical heart will fall apart. But is it possible to control feelings? This is a challenge he will face after meeting a beautiful singer Acacia. On his way to his love, the child finds himself and discovers the big truth.

The play is a fantastic trip to the world of love, in which the most important thing is to learn not to close your heart, but open up to others.
