One of the oldest surviving Gothic buildings in the country, this compact beauty hidden away behind the buildings on the southern side of the western end of Laisvės was probably built during the second half of the 15th century with the bell tower added some time later. The building has been damaged several times throughout its history, including during the 17th-century Russo-Polish War and again during a fire in 1812. Check out the candles burning day and night in the building at the back and in the church cellar.
