If you'd like to combine fresh forest air with some quiet spiritual reflection, a visit to the Wielewska Calvary is the perfect thing for you. Located near the town of Wiele in the Karsin commune, in the large forested hills south of Wielewski Lake, it's one of the best maintained calvaries in the region (or beyond), and a truly magical place to get away from it all. Originally completed in 1927, the size and forms of the 14 chapels are quite diverse, while amongst six separate sculptures you'll even come across a sailing ship.
