The lodge sits overlooking Lake Jezioro Białe, not to mention the landscaped gardens and a vineyard against the beautiful forest-lined countryside to highlight it all! Accommodation is exclusively-numbered in 16 stylish rooms and suites, a few with their own fireplace and private terrace, though all have lake views. Of this selection, a luxury private villa is the jewel in the crown of the estate.

The lodge’s kitchen serves an imaginative, regionally-inspired menu that makes use of fresh-and-local ingredients, most notably, lamb, which are raised in the surrounding fields. Complementing each dish is your choice from the afore-mentioned wine list, a selection of more than 250 wines from a dozen countries with vintages going back two decades. The Kania vineyard is, obviously, not just for show either. You have the opportunity to sample their own produce as well as rye and potato-based vodka that is so prestigious that even the likes of the Ritz in Paris and Claridges in London are frequently calling up to place yet another order!

Getting out and about in the local area offers you a wonderful choice of walking and bike trails to enjoy. If you have a car, a day trip to Gdańsk Old Town or a little further south to the picturesque Teutonic Castle in Malbork is certainly on the cards.
