This red sandstone manor house (1764-67) sits alongside one of the main thoroughfares of Trippstadt, a minor ‘wellness’ vacation destination south of Kaiserslautern. The building itself, once the seat of the ‘hunter of the Palatinate’, is interesting in its adherence to the baroque architectural style. The garden is nothing more than a nice lawn encircled by a sandstone wall. A pleasant place for a picnic, perhaps.
