The owners of Riga’s most successful Uzbek restaurant have decided to open a similar establishment in Jūrmala. The floors are covered in oriental carpets and the walls are adorned with blue Central Asian ceramic plates and musical instruments creating an exotic atmosphere, which is only enhanced when the chef comes to your table to personally serve you the house speciality – plov (Uzbek pilaf). If dishes like lagman (noodle soup), manti (meat dumplings) and samsa (samosas) seem a little too unfamiliar to you, you can also order sushi and some other Japanese favourites.
