Kubongwa okukhulu nokuncane is WonderBuhle's second solo show at BKhz and sees the artist exploring gratitude and its power in shaping the world. The title was prompted by WonderBuhle's uncle who recently celebrated his birthday for the first time, with WonderBuhle saying, "When I asked him why he did it, all he said was that he was grateful for the opportunity. Most of his peers are gone, so for him to see life this long was a moment worth gathering people for. It was a moment worth remembering.” The exhibition continues this thread by celebrating the joys, victories and dreams within life's complications.
