With more than 160 exhibitors, and 800 wines on show, this is South Africa's premier wine festival so there is no better place for you to try out the country's best wines and find the perfect pairings for your next event. From boutique wineries to the biggest names, and even wine route-specific stalls, if there's a South African wine, you'll find it at WineX 2022.
Added to the the regular award-winning brands and boutique winery favourites, WineX newcomers for 2022 include Clarington, Haus, Icewine Africa, Le Chant, Onoma, Tempel, Tesselaarsdal and Yethu Wines. WineX is a super social and relaxed way to explore wine, and annually the event attracts around 8000 wine fans to Sandton Convention Centre in search of new vinous discoveries.
What we love about WineX (aside from giving you a reason to drink some wine) are the different people who represent the labels at all the stalls. They are usually incredibly passionate about winemaking, and are only too happy to chat with you and help you find the perfect wine. No need to be a connoisseur but if you are one, you'll can also gravitate towards people who like nothing more than delving into the nitty-gritty of that Sauvignon Blanc, and revel in winespeak from terroir to sherry soaked oak barrels.
