We have been great fans of Pablo Eggs-Go-Bar from the start, and when our favourite all-day breakfast spot moved into the lovely Pablo House, a boutique hotel perched on a hilltop in Melville, we followed.

Now better known as Pablo Dos Manos, the team here has put together a superb brunch inspired by travels in Italy. Titled 'From Amalfi with Love', this Saturday and Sunday menu offering is a revival of the most beloved Pablo-Eggs-Go Bar dishes, with added coastal romance inspired by the Amalfi Peninsula.

With its panoramic views on the highest point of Melville, this property tucked out of sight is always a favoured Joburg destination for us.

Brunch is on offer weekly, on Saturday and Sunday. Choose from an à la carte food and drinks menu. To tease your taste buds try the Bottomless Amalfi – a selection of Amalfi cocktails that includes Capri Cooler, Aperol and Limoncello Spritz, Bottomless Bubbly or Bottomless Mimosas.

The clever people at Pablo also have a tasting menu available – where you will be served a chef's selection of dishes.

The brunch offering runs from 10:00 – 14:00 every Sat and Sun through spring and summer. The last brunch booking/seating is at 12:00, and last order on the brunch menu is at 13:00. Thereafter, the lunch, dinner, and specials menu will be available.
