Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a six-course dinner and wine pairing at the elegant AtholPlace boutique hotel's restaurant. The meal starts with a glass of bubbly and starters such as scallops with mushy mint peas and eucalyptus foam on chorizo soil. For mains there are dishes like miso-glazed salmon served with herbed couscous, asparagus and a soy reduction, and a lamb rack with glazed rainbow carrots, broccoli, grilled leeks and roast onion puree on chilli polenta and jus. Dessert consists of two courses; cranberries and spiced poached pear paired with vanilla shortbread and red velvet forest cake, cherries, dark chocolate and sour cherry sorbet.
