Born in 1992 in Newcastle, Lindo Zwane is now based in Johannesburg. In his latest body of work the artist who works predominantly in paintings and charcoal drawing, uses elements of both two-dimensional and three-dimensional shapes and forms on canvas in order create an invitation to introspection into the deepest corners of our own being.
Using high contrasts, he strives to remind the viewer of the never-ending duplicity of human nature – one that is both good and evil, where there is always shadow.
The exhibition open Sun, Aug 15, 11:00–15:00.
