The Terrace is a stylish, yet relaxed restaurant at the popular farm and events venue, Ground the Venue, in Muldersdrift. Inspired by a love for Mediterranean food culture, it's a place to enjoy a long lunch over good conversation and delicious drinks.

The menu has a variety of tapas-style dishes, with a refreshing selection of starters, vegetarian, seafood, chicken, beef, and lamb options that are cooked to perfection. 

We loved the truffle mayo fries, the moules-frites (mussel pot with skinny french fries) and the kataifi prawns with a delicious Muhammara spicy dip (made of walnuts, red bell peppers and pomegranate molasses).  Read the full review of our visit here.

A tapas and tasting room, the menu changes seasonally and you are encouraged to share dishes. We really enjoy this style of eating, as it encourages a long and lazy lunch. The bar at The Terrace serves tasty cocktails, or pair your meal with an Inverroche Gin tasting, bubbles, or wine. 

Take note that the dress code is smart casual (read: not activewear) and children under 12 are not allowed. It's nonetheless an easy, and beautiful space to unwind in beyond the confines of the city.
