From the shores of Cape Town the Plant Powered Show arrives in Gauteng for the first time, and will pump the accelerator at Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit from Fri, Aug 4 - Sun, Aug 6 with a host of celebrity chefs and culinary masters including Zola Nene, Deena Naidoo, Andile Somdaka, Sue Gajathar and Wandile Mabaso of Les Créatifs in Bryanston. Many of the chefs taking part in the demos will also be hosting hands-on master classes, the maximum capacity of the classes is 20 premium ticket holders per class and you will be able to cook an array of plant-based dishes alongside the renowned chefs. The event will also feature diverse and compelling talks by leading health and wellness experts with topics such as "Forgotten Food Systems" presented by Gregory Henderson, "Vegan Certification and Labelling" by Anusha Lakha, "McCain Foods Farms of the Future" by Phumzile Baliki and Thabile Motsamai and others.
The Plant Powered Show, aimed at anyone with an interest in food, health, and wellness will also be enlightening if you've been wanting to live a more conscious lifestyle. Beyond its culinary delights, the event also serves as a platform to discover and support innovative, high-quality products, as it showcases various retail, restaurant, hotel, and hospitality establishments, as well as local distributors and exporters.

13:00 – Siphiwe Sithole and Andile Somdaka will dazzle with a presentation of their Millet and African Melon recipe.
14:30 – Food stylist and photographer, Clara Kapelembe Bwali from Black Garlic Zambia as well as Lulu and William from Wood Kitchen bring the tastes of Zambia to Kyalami.
16:00 – Chef Siyabulela Kobo's demonstration of Isigwampa (a traditional dish of garden leaves) promises to be a crowd-pleaser.
Sat, Aug 5
11:00 – Be surprised by Wandile Mabaso's mysterious "Earth, wind, and fire" recipe.
12:30 – If you love your greens, you'll enjoy Chad January's recipe for spinach falafel and sweet potato mash.
14:00 – Zola Nene presents some super plant-based burger tacos.
15:30 – Deena Naidoo will have you wanting to rush to the kitchen with recipes for green Thai curry, a vegan chai panna cotta, and more sweet treats including a strawberry and anise Compote and chocolate sand.
16:30 – And if there's room for more, Sue Gajathar's vegan fish curry could definitely satisfy.
