The Book Revue presents this special evening at one of Joburg’s most innovative local art institutes, Artist Proof Studio (APS), a community printmaking centre in downtown Joburg that has fostered the talents of some of South Africa’s most celebrated young artists including Phillemon Hlungwane, Nelson Makamo, Mongezi Ncaphayi and Bambo Sibiya.

This exclusive event on Tue Oct 22 sees artists from APS explaining the concepts behind their artworks and demonstrating different etching, linocut and lithography techniques used in the printmaking process. There’s also an opportunity to buy works directly from the artists at the event.
