New Braamfontein Lofts is an exciting new urban development that aims reshape how Joburgers think about urban living by transforming what was once a telecommunications exchange in Braamfontein West, into a visionary new residential precinct of spacious loft-style apartments, filled with light and piled high with unique features recalling the precinct's unusual industrial heritage. On October 12 the development opens its gates for The Art of Regeneration, a unique group art exhibition that focuses on the theme of urban renewal and the regeneration of disused spaces. Shaped by the area's unusual architectural context the art show features compelling works by leading local names including Stephen Hobbs, Senzo Shabangu, Zhi Zulu, Mary Wafer, Roxy Kaczmarek, street artist r1, Mathroom, Fred Clarke, Semi Lubisi, Nditshemi Managa, Buhle Hlatshwayo and Lucas Kumba.

The Art of Regeneration exhibition also presents the opportunity to explore this new precinct and the variety of one, two and three-bed lofts spread across the complex's many buildings (guided tours will leave every hour).
