After an incredible year celebrating 20 years of her iconic debut album Zabalaza, the release of her highly praised new album, Sankofa, and subsequent local and international tour, South African music legend Thandiswa Mazwai returns home to perform a special show at South African State Theatre on Sat, Dec 7, 2024.

This show, titled Umbulelo (meaning "Thanksgiving"), is Mazwai’s heartfelt tribute to the people who have supported her throughout her career, from family and friends to her loyal fans. Expect a powerful, emotional performance covering music from across her career, including timeless hits from Zabalaza and new tracks like Sabala, Kulungile, Emini, and Children of the Soil.
