It's fun to watch the team busily throwing the laffa dough around in expert fashion straight onto piping hot plates to fashion the super fresh breads that your sizzling meats will be wrapped up in. In classic Middle Eastern style there are also towering kebab skewers behind the counter from which your spiced meat will be shredded ready to go (or try their excellent spiced kofta) and a huge choice of sides all generously thrown in.
As is the case across this neighbourhood the prices are fantastic. A quarter chicken meal (with chips, salad, sauce and laffa bread) will set you back R30. Chicken shawarmas (in laffa wraps) cost from R55 and a family of four can feast on a massive mixed grill including coca-cola, laffas and salads for R350.
A special mention must be made of the delicious fresh juices on offer, all priced at R25, including fresh orange, apple, pineapple and mango. For something different try the surprisingly refreshing avocado and dates milkshake.
