Enjoy a day of live jazz music performances in the tranquil surroundings of the elegant Nirox Sculpture Park in the Cradle of Humankind on Sun, Sep 15. Return to Source is the Spring Jazz concert at Nirox, a celebration of spring with live music unfolding at the lawn amphitheatre performance space, as well as contemporary art installations, and poetry readings presented in the ''lounge'' area under the trees.

Nduduzo Makhathini to perform at Nirox Sculpture Park's Spring Jazz.

The tranquil surroundings of the park will come alive with the sounds of Nduduzo Makhathini's piano, Simphiwe Dana's vocals, McCoy Mrubata's saxophone, Keenan Ahrends’ guitar, Ndabo Zulu’s trumpet, and the voice of Melanie Scholtz, who will be joining straight from New York. The event showcases the talents of Bokani Dyer on the keys, Benjamin Jephta on the bass, and Marlon Witbooi on the drums, among other gifted artists.

Grab lunch from the high-end food stalls serving gourmet fare, enjoy drinks at Bernie's Bar or book a table for lunch at the Nirox restaurant And then there was fire. Note that you may not bring any of your own food and drinks to the venue.

All ages are welcome, so bring the whole family for a day outside.
