The vibrant township of Soweto hosts its first Farmers Market at the Soweto Barnyard in Protea Glen. You can expect to experience Sowetan culture in its food, clothing, atmosphere and of course, live entertainment. 

The always thrilling indie-folk-funk quartet Urban Village takes to the stage with a fusion of traditional and contemporary rural and urban sounds. On the decks are CastroJazz and Bilal Da DJ to keep things groovy.  Foodies are going to enjoy the variety of food and drink stalls available, including juicy gourmet burgers from The Burger Yard, dessert and sweet treats from The Scrummy Ice-cream, and fresh fruit smoothies and juice from Smoothello to name a few. 

Lovers of fashion will enjoy an array of clothing and fashion items, including Thesis Lifestyle's Soweto street wear that includes their signature slogan T-shirts and bucket hats – always among their most coveted products.
