One of the founders of the legendary Bag Factory, acclaimed artist Sam Nhlengethwa's new solo exhibition at Goodman Gallery is something different. Known for his mixed-media collages depicting everyday life in South Africa, Nhlengethwa turns his eye toward the sartorial for Art Meets Fashion. These joyous, tongue-in-cheek paintings and prints present a more light-hearted side of the artist who has always been interested in how people dress themselves to represent who they are.
