Always lively, this colourful restaurant and its bustling street terrace is one of the most busiest on Soweto's historic Vilakazi Street. Food is typical African township fare and if you have been hankering to try local dishes such as mogodu (tripe stew), chakalaka (spicy vegetable stew), ox liver or even maotwana (chicken feet) this is the place for it. There's a huge buffet that includes plenty of stews and salads in addition to the more exotic items, as well as an a la carte menu with burgers and omelettes for the less adventurous.
