We love the vibrant Wunderkammer auctions at Russell Kaplan Auctioneers for their incredible range of eclectic pieces that number in the thousands. You can view the items going under the hammer at the auction house showroom in the Bram Fischer Centre in Ferndale, Randburg. We highly recommend paying a visit to get a sense of the size of the items on auction, browse the beautiful artworks, and get a feel for the incredible variety of pieces on offer. Visiting the showroom is always a fun experience, with all manner of curious antiques, period furniture, and striking artworks filling every available space.
Evening viewings: Head to the previews on Tue, Feb 25 and Wed, Feb 26 from 16:30 – 20:00.Daytime viewing: The showroom is open from Tue, Feb 25 – Fri, Feb 28 from 09:30 – 16:30 and Sat, Mar 1 from 09:30–13:00.

How to bid in a Russell Kaplan auction
Pre-bids can be placed online in advance of the sale, and then the bidding is hosted live over several days. Registration to bid in the auction is open online at rkauctioneers.co.za where you can browse all the items going on sale.
Online pre-bids and live bids are treated equally, so rest assured if nobody bids over your pre-bid during the live session the lot is yours. After submitting a successful bid you'll then receive your auction invoice by email so you can arrange payments and collection.
