To celebrate Gauteng's annual jacaranda spring, Johannesburg In Your Pocket hosts the #JacarandaInYourPocket event series to showcase the most beautiful time of year in Joburg. This year is no different, with a line-up of events from Sat, Oct 19 – Sun, Oct 27.

Rooftops and blooming beauties

Enjoy views of the Joburg's purple jacaranda canopy with a rooftop bloom-spotting experience with Johannesburg In Your Pocket and MicroAdventure Tours on Sat, Oct 26 from 14:00. Starting at The Leonardo in Sandton, hop aboard the open-top City Sightseeing Red Bus for a stylish city adventure. Enjoy breathtaking views of the purple jacaranda canopy, with Champagne and canapés served at Joburg’s highest viewpoint, Alto234.

From there we'll head off in search of glorious tree views from the top of the City Sightseeing bus, stop at Munro Drive in Houghton, take a walk in The Wilds, and end off at a unique rooftop location in Rosebank for a sunset wine tasting.
