The Roadhouse Project is a new photography initiative bringing world class photography into public spaces, introducing new audiences to the art form. The first Roadhouse event took place in April 2017 at the Casa Blanca roadhouse in Brakpan, with images by renowned photographers such as David Goldblatt and Raymond Moekena projected in HD on a big screen.<br /> <br /> This edition of Roadhouse takes place at the Doll House roadhouse on Louis Botha Avenue. One of the oldest roadhouses in Joburg, Doll House is sadly closing its doors this year and the site is being redeveloped. Bid farewell to this iconic place with an evening of local and international photography by names like Jodie Bieber, Billy Monk and Ryno de Wet projected on the big screen, special video works by artists like Roger Ballen and Haroon Gunn Salie, plus DJ sets and a party atmosphere.
