Celebrating the music and dance of Cuba, Thonton Kabeya blurs the boundary between painting and sculpture with this showcase of dynamic artworks called Pasada. Kabeya, who was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo (then Zaire) and is now based in Joburg, uses paint and canvas to beautifully evokes the movement of a dance.
