Parklive Festival 2024
Saturday Aug 24 10:00–21:00
Judith Rd, Emmarentia
This year's event promises a fun experience, featuring a vibrant mix of international and local talent set against the parkland backdrop.
Parklive Festival has become a staple for music enthusiasts, celebrated for its eclectic blend of genres and dedication to established acts and emerging stars. Beyond the great music, attendees can enjoy a food and beverage village, offering everything from gourmet street food to craft drinks.
Headlining this year's festival is UK singer-songwriter Myles Smith, making his debut in South Africa. Known for his unique mix of mix folk, Americana, and pop, Smith is a DIY artist who started on gritty open mic nights and now has over a million monthly listeners on Spotify. Joining him is celebrated local artist Craig Lucas, and fan favourites Jeremy Loops, Mi Casa, and Prime Circle. Attendees can also look forward to Veranda Panda (a Durban-based duo that combines EDM and violin), Droomsindroom (Afrikaans indie brother duo Kirsten and Kyle Schlebusch), and Joburg-born, Cape Town-based artist and producer, Pixie Whip.
Don’t miss this day outdoors to celebrate music and community on Sat, Aug 24 from 10:00 at Marks Park. Early bird tickets are already sold out, so we suggest you hustle. Get your tickets here.
