Every spring, Johannesburg residents weed out their trellises, prune their shrubs, hose out their bird baths, and dust off their water features before opening up their gates for the public to explore and enjoy their exquisite gardens. To celebrate the new season, Johannesburg Garden Club is hosting its annual Open Gardens fundraising event – and they want you to join them!

If you're ready to join the spring crew, head over to 114 9th Road, Hyde Park to celebrate two of Joburg's best features – the weather and the greenery. In addition to magnificent gardens, the venue also has a tea garden, a champagne and smoked salmon bar, and a plant sale. You’ll get some of the best views of the city here, too.

All proceeds raised on the day will go to Jo’burg Child Welfare who provide a range of services to abused, abandoned, neglected, orphaned, and vulnerable children in Johannesburg.
