Established in 2021 as part of the RMB Talent Unlocked programme by UCT lecturer Sipho Fubesi, the Mzansi Tenors gained recognition after their participation in the 2022 RMB Starlight Classics.

Since then, they have emerged as a prominent South African musical group garnering a strong reputation for their extensive repertoire. Notably, all the members of this proudly South African ensemble come from disadvantaged backgrounds. The Mzansi Tenors are a beacon of hope, showcasing the triumph of talent, commitment and hard work.

The Mzansi Tenors consist of Mkhanyisele Dyantyi, Tshepo Finger Makeba, Sinalo Gxalaba, Sakhi Martins, Dumisa Masoka, Given Nkosi, Mziwamadoda Nodlayiya, Sonwabo Ntshata and Vuyisa Xipu. Accompanying them on stage will be renowned South African musician, Nadine.

The group’s enchanting repertoire includes renditions of QaqambaNyana Wam, A! Mes amis, Ave Maria, You Raise Me Up, Circle of Life, Hallelujah and Baba Wethu.
