After successfully running as an online-only record store for more than three years, in early 2017 Mr Vinyl (aka vinyl fanatic Bret Dugmore) took the plunge and opened up a walk-in store in 44 Stanley.

Dugmore describes Mr Vinyl as "an obsessive hobby, turned record store" and vinyl enthusiasts, whether new buyers or nostalgic collectors, will feel at home in this inviting space. An extension of the Mr Vinyl website, this is the place to get your hands on the latest records before they go on sale online or just hang out and listen to your favourite record at the listening station.

There's a large selection of new and limited-edition records (neatly sealed and in mint condition) covering everything from metal to house, jazz and classical and as you walk in you'll be greeted by a changing display of iconic cover artwork from the likes of Prince, Pink Floyd, Radiohead and Miles Davis. There are also stacks upon stacks of pre-loved vinyl records alphabetically arranged in boxes, ready and waiting for eager fingers to flick through them.
