Math Restaurant in Waterfall Corner is a place where familial legacy and communal spirit take centre stage. Started by Puleng Mathabatha, the name draws inspiration from his parents' thriving hardware store in Lebowakgomo, Limpopo, Math Electrical Hardware Store.  Symbolising the first four letters of his family's surname, the name 'Math' was chosen to represent his new venture and to pay homage to his family's legacy. 

With the tagline "When We Gather", it's a space that strives to be welcoming. With a beautiful murial that encapsulates this spirit dominating one wall of the restaurant, it's laid back and relaxed, and the food a mix of contemporary influences: from the streets of New York to much-loved home-cooked South African favourites.
