The decor is minimalist mexicana , with Mama immortalised in an Andy Warhol-style print, and the food is anything but when it comes to flavour. Feast on the perfect nachos, burritos, quesadillas, chimichangas and enchiladas and wash it all down with a local version of Mexican beer. Service tends to dip according to how busy they are. The prices are mild and spicy food is on request.

We had a wonderful meal here. It was on a market day, and the restaurant was quite busy. Despite that, the food was tasty and the service was good. I am looking forward to going back again. Thank you for a lovely meal.

IT IS NOT REMOTELY , NOT EVEN TEX MEX ! VERY POORLY PUT TOGETHER FOOD OFFERING , VERY LOW -LEVEL OUTLET , TERRIBLE TO PRETEND TO BE LINKED TO MEXICO - IT INSULTS HOW COULD THEY BE PERMITTED TO PRETEND FOOD 'ORIGIN TO BE MEXICO ? BETTER TO BE AFRO - TEX OR BUT NOT EVEN TEX MEX, NOT ONE OF OUR GROUP OF 11 AMERICAN , 2 FROM MEXICO ,1 PUERTO RICO , 1 PERU DID ENJOY ,WE LEFT OUR FOOD & WENT FOR DECENT LUNCH . DO NOT RECOMMEND IT . FOOD IN MEXICO IS LOVE , TERRIBLE TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WE WORK WORLDWIDE, OFTEN FOOD ADAPTED TO THE COUNTRY , YET MAMA MEXICANA - TERRIBLE , NOT EDIBLE DON'T JUDGE MEXICO BY IT , NOT EVEN AMERICAN PEOPLE WOULD TOUCH IT
