Live at The Troyeville: Bacchus Nel en Sy Bra's and Radio Kalahari Orkes
Sunday Apr 27 13:00–18:00
1403 Albertina Sisulu Rd, Troyeville
First, Bacchus Nel – blind troubadour and poetic rebel – leads a crew of musical misfits (Sy Bra's) through a bittersweet blend of folk and blues, stitched together with grit, humour, and heart. Then, Radio Kalahari Orkes takes the baton. Led by actor Ian Roberts, this outfit blends Cape Malay, traditional Afrikaans, Latin, and anything else found along the gravel road in their unique musical style. It’s a Sunday session for lovers of live music, lekker lyrics, and a little mischief on the side.
Tickets are available online and at the door for R200 p.p. Booking is essential. Book here.
For this show, doors open at 13:00 and performances start at 15:00. This allows you plenty of time to enjoy the full bar and food menu from the wonderful restaurant at The Troyeville before and during the show.
