This guided walking tour, led by Ed Coogan and Joy Campkin-Smith, starts at the Delta Park Environmental Centre, where you'll discover striking 1930s architecture, innovative technology of the era, and Joburg’s tallest palm trees. Inside, Geoff Lockwood will share the centre’s surprising past – from its early days as a sewage treatment works to its transformation into a thriving environmental hub.

From there, we’ll wander through the forest, discovering original Art Deco gates and sleek municipal houses inspired by London’s underground and power stations. The tour wraps up with a leisurely stroll along the Linden Stream, where blooming Cosmos flowers put on a dazzling autumn show. Want to explore more?
