<em>The City by Night</em> explores the architecture Joburg's financial district meandering past some of the city’s most iconic buildings. <br /> <br /> Johannesburg Heritage Foundation’s Brett McDougall and Joburg-based architect Brian Kent-McKechnie wander through Joburg’s history to view the city's magnificent Edwardian streetscape at Harrison and Fox Streets, the Art Deco Aegis and Union Castle Buildings, and the towering, cathedral-like Standard Bank Centre. Experience the city by night as you join them to walk back in time through Joburg’s 130-year-old architecture. The tour begins at the imposing Rand Club, home to the longest bar in Africa. <br /> <br /> Booking is essential.
